This podcast is for Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants, AA students and anyone hoping to become one. As a CAA, I know how difficult it can be to find guidance that includes our unique point of view. I created Awakened Anesthetist to be the supportive community of CAAs I had needed on my own journey. Jason Franco is the chief CAA at his hospital in Vero Beach, FL. Jason’s process episode will be super expansive to any CAAs who may one day open a new practice location, any CAAs who feel passionately about mentoring or teaching students, and any anesthetists who are struggling to prevent their limiting beliefs and past failures from impeding their future potential. Jason shares candidly about how he moved forward after his first and second failed interview attempts into CAA school, which I found incredibly vulnerable.
